Time to get excited for this show. But, more importantly, what am I going to wear?

Tonight an attractive member of my favorite band spit water all over me. It was delightful.

Princes of the Universe — The Protomen

I am so excited for this show.

The Protomen — Bohemian Rhapsody from their new live album A Night of Queen.

(Maybe I should just start doing “Musical Tuesday” instead.)

Look what came in the mail today. GPOY because I’m all sorts of excited. This webcam is worse than my cellphone camera.

Musical Monday is so belated because I’ve spent the last two days searching for my face after it was rocked off by the Protomen Monday night. And, yeah, they totally played this.

Be there or be forever uncool.

For some reason this is making me lol uncontrollably. The internet is so magical when you’re super sleep deprived.

My left ear is still super cotton-y. I don’t think I’ve ever sweated so much or rocked so hard in my entire life. As Elizabeth put it, there was enough sweat on the floor for a toddler to drown in. And surprise seeing a girl I knew in high school who’s now playing with the band! It’s excellent to see someone from MLK that is doing awesome music stuff.

This is me now:

Costuming has constantly been on my mind for the last couple days. I have three costuming opportunities this month.

The Protomen concert is a little more of a free for all and therefore way more difficult than the other two. I have so many options, but should probably just wear something akin to my Tank Girl costume. This will probably end up being less of a costume and more of a my-closet-threw-up-on-me look.

The next event is, of course, HP7 Part Deux. Sarah and I figure it’s our last chance to dress up as our faves, so we’ve settled on being dead Sirius and dead Remus. This means we need to hurry up and get us some ghoulish makeups. I also need to find some sort of grey powder that will stay in my hair and a good sweater-vest? Maybe some suspenders.

Last is the midnight premiere of Captain America, which I’ve decided to just go as comic book Peggy Carter, all French Resistance-y and stuff. Ordered a black military beret, need to find a black turtleneck, borrow Sarah’s blond wig, and sew up some pouches (Rob Liefeld would be proud).
